Kurnell Foreshore Walk
This walk begins and ends on the edge of Kamay Botany Bay National Park. The trail follows the Burrawang Walk and continues along the Kurnell foreshore to Bonna Point Reserve before returning to the start.
Bennelong to Barangaroo
The walk from Bennelong Point to Barangaroo is not a long one but it’s a good one. And it dips into the history of early Sydney and the people who lend their names to the points at either end.
Cockatoo Island
On a recent visit to Cockatoo Island, I managed to rack up 8000 steps. Granted, I did wander back and forth a bit, meandering rather than following a prescribed route. But isn’t that the best way to see a place?
Kokoda Track Memorial Path
If you’re looking for a long walk, this is not it. But if you’re up for a little history, close to the city but in natural surrounds, then the Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway is worth a look.
